The first Friday in November is just around the corner and, as it has for 13 years, this community will come together for a day of giving during Live PC Give PC. Enthusiastic volunteers waving signs on street corners, social media blitzes, and lively celebrations will erupt in every part of town.
What most don’t know is what a monumental undertaking this is for the Park City Community Foundation and the nonprofits it supports. In the background, before the first donation is made Friday, November 3rd, months of laser focus on outreach, fundraising, coordination, meetings, meetings, and more meetings will have taken place, all at the direction of the Community Foundation.
As Park City’s nonprofits support you — from trails and open space, to health are, to youth sports, and public radio — Park City Community Foundation supports us. For many nonprofits, including Mountain Trails Foundation, Live PC Give PC is the biggest fundraising event of the year because it is a low-cost, efficient, highly effective way to raise money for our mission — and it brings our community together.
