The Wasatch Wasps were bounced from the playoffs last Friday, losing 48-24 to Orem. Having sneaked into the UHSAA 5A tournament at 3-6, the Wasps record proved indicative. The Tigers had a big offensive night with over 500 total yards and six touchdowns. Orem face Timpview this week, 5A’s top seed. The Wasps, who have had two-consecutive losing years, will look next year to get back to winning ways, as when they had six even or winning seasons from 2015 to 2021.
