The 14-year-old girl who was hit by an SUV crossing Heber City’s Main Street at 790 South Sept. 27 was, as last reported by her family in a Go Fund Me page Tuesday, still in the intensive care unit after undergoing two surgeries following the incident.
In response to The Park Record’s query to the teenager’s parents about their daughter’s condition, Intermountain Health Care media relations manager Jennifer Toomer-Cook informed the paper that the couple are asking for privacy and would like the media to refer to their Go Fund Me.
According to a post on the page marked as an update, the girl “is currently stable and remains in the ICU where she continues to rest and be monitored.”
“Her condition can change,” the update stated, “but we are grateful for the healthcare team behind her. We appreciate your love and support.”
