Average gasoline prices in Utah have fallen 7.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.12/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,171 stations in Utah. Prices in Utah are 15.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 0.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 0.7 cents in the last week and stands at $4.52 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Utah was priced at $3.67/g Monday while the most expensive was $4.99/g, a difference of $1.32/g. The lowest price in the state was $3.67/g while the highest was $4.99/g, a difference of $1.32/g.
Locally, gas prices ranged from $4.45 a gallon in Park City to $4.36 in Snyder Basin, Silver Creek and Heber City. The least expensive, at $4.30, was at the junction of I-80 and S.R. 189.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.77/g Monday. The national average is down 2.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 1 cent per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
