Park City buses in the spring and summer were on time 91% of the time, Park City officials say. The 4 Orange route, running between the Old Town transit center and Silver Lake Village, at 97%, was on time most often, according to the data. The buses on the 5 Yellow route, which stretches between Prospector, Park City Mountain, Old Town and lower Deer Valley, were on time the least often — 88%. “We are super proud of our region-leading on-time performance. Hitting above 90% delivery in traffic as unpredictable as that of Park City is a real testament to the skill and commitment of our entire transit team,” Transportation Director Tim Sanderson says.
Park City is marking Walk, Roll, Transit Week through Saturday, highlighting options for people to move about the community via public transportation. The events include a coffee with Mayor Nann Worel on Friday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Old Town transit center to discuss transit efforts and a bike rodeo from 10 a.m. until noon at McPolin Elementary School on Saturday.
