At approximately 1:30 p.m., President Joe Biden arrived in Park City for a fundraiser, temporarily shutting down S.R. 224 to travelers.
State Troopers, Park City Police and Summit County Sheriff’s officers stopped all traffic onto S.R. 224 at around 1:15p.m. to allow the presidential motorcade to pass.
The motorcade was led by two waves of police motorcycles, followed by a helicopter over the route and the presidential limos, concluding with vans and Park City Fire District vehicles.
President Biden will be in Park City for a few hours to attend a fundraising event, which concludes his visit to the West. S.R. 224 will temporarily close again for his return to Salt Lake City, where he will board Air Force One and fly back to DC.
