Did we miss something, or get to Main Street too late or leave too early? Where was the American flag and honor guard at the Fourth of July parade?
Someone said that the organization designated to carry the flag was “over-committed.” There are hundreds of people in our community, including many former military, who would gladly carry the flag on our nation’s birthday.
Or maybe we could just have a generic parade any old time when nothing else is happening.
