Three districts in the Utah State House of Representatives race and a state Senate race reported preliminary results for the 2022 midterm elections. Current polling numbers are provided by the state of Utah.
In the Utah House of Reps District 4, preliminary results show Republican candidate Kera Birkeland captured 59.97% of the popular vote compared to Democrat Kris Campbell, who secured 40.03% of the popular vote.
In the Utah House of Reps District 59 race, preliminary results report Republican Mike Kohler collected 9,765 popular votes (or 61.23%). Democrat challenger Meaghan Miller secured 6,183 popular votes or 38.77%.
In the Utah House of Reps District 23 three-way race, Democrat Brian S. King collected 9,405 popular votes or 76.22% of the popular vote. Preliminary results show Republican Ruth Ann Abbott captured 2,694 votes, totaling 21.88% of the popular vote, and United Utah Party contender Cabot Nelson collected 241 votes.
In the Utah State Senate District 20 race, Republican Ronald Winterton tallied 25,279 popular votes, or 89.07% of the popular vote. Based on preliminary results provided by the state of Utah, Democrat candidate Jill Fellow collected 9,985 popular votes or 10.93%.
