Rachael Richins, 16, of Henefer, and Lupe Carreno, 16, of Coalville, emerge from a cart on the Zipper ride at the Summit County Fair Wednesday in Coalville. Carnival rides returned to the fair this year after a decade-long absence. Ten rides are featured, including the Zipper, Tilt-A-Whirl and carousel. The rides are open to the public until Saturday, Aug. 8. The carnival will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased the day of and will be $1 a ticket or $25 for a wristband.
