According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office daily call logs, deputies responded to numerous calls between Tuesday, March 17 and Monday, March 23, including the following:
Monday, March 23
A South Summit woman reported that her mailbox was stolen sometime during the night on Saturday.
Sunday, March 22
A South Summit woman got into a verbal argument with her father, while a minor was present. The woman agreed to leave the house for the night.
Saturday, March 21
A vehicle was stopped on State Road 224 for improper lane travel. Deputies discovered the driver had an active warrant and a suspended license. A vehicle search revealed a syringe loaded with methamphetamine. The woman was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail.
A man was found wandering along State Road 32 and was booked into the Summit County Jail for intoxication.
Friday, March 20
Deputies responded to a child molestation report in the South Snyderville Basin.
Deputies responded to a Snyderville Basin residence after receiving reports of a theft. Approximately $782 worth of copper wiring was reported missing.
Deputies responded to a hotel in Kimball Junction after receiving reports of suspicious activity. Four juveniles were cited for underage drinking and were released to their parents.
Thursday, March 19
Deputies responded to a request for a welfare check in the North Snyderville Basin. The Unified Police Department was contacted and a welfare check was conducted in Taylorsville.
Two vehicles were involved in an accident in South Summit. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, March 18
A man reported his ex-wife was verbally abusive toward him and would not leave his room. When the deputies arrived, the woman had left.
Tuesday, March 17
Deputies responded to a residence near the Tanger Outlets after receiving reports of a physical altercation in progress. One man was transported to Park City Medical Center. Once he was cleared by medical, he was arrested on preliminary charges of assault, criminal mischief and intoxication. The other man was cited for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Deputies served a protection order at a residence in North Summit.
Deputies were dispatched to a Kimball Junction restaurant after receiving reports about a disorderly woman who was yelling at customers and staff. The woman was arrested and booked into Summit County Jail.
A man reported that his teenage daughter had left their South Snyderville residence after an argument. The teen returned home later in the day.
