The Park City Police Department on Halloween evening and night reported conducing three patrols in cemeteries to ensure nobody was inside celebrating.
On Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:23 p.m., an officer checked the Park City Cemetery on Kearns Boulevard. No problems were found. An officer returned at 11:45 p.m., seeing no issues.
At 12:15 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 1, an officer walked through the Glenwood Cemetery, which is located off Silver King Drive in Thaynes Canyon, without finding problems.
Phil Kirk, a police captain, said youngsters have been found in cemeteries on Halloween in past years.
"Kids being kids, hanging out in spooky places like cemeteries," Kirk said of the past years.
