Holiday Spin 350 Challenge

The PC MARC will keep you riding this winter season while Park City’s 350 miles of trails are snow packed. Join the awesome spin instructors in covering 350 miles in the comfort of a spin studio with a view. Earn 15 miles per one-hour spin class you attend. Log your total miles to date on the Park City Recreation Facebook page at the end of each week, Nov. 1 to Jan. 31, as you race to complete a total of 350. Finisher prizes will be awarded! Ski Conditioning at Basin Rec

Want to get in shape for the ski season? Check out Basin Recreation’s Ski Conditioning fitness class at The Fieldhouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. from Nov. 5 to Dec. 5. PCHS Basketball Skill Clinics

Park City High School boys’ basketball head coach Caleb Fine, along with his staff and players, will be hosting two skill clinics Saturdays, Nov. 2 and 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Park City High School. The clinics cost $30 for both or $20 for one day. All boys grades 3-8 interested in improving their basketball skills are welcome to attend. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the gymnasium. Free Lunchtime Learning at the PC MARC

Learn to Play Hockey’s next session starts Thursday, Nov. 7 or Monday, Nov. 11. Classes are either Mondays from 5:30-6:15 p.m. or Thursdays, 4:30-5:15 p.m. for skaters ages 5 to 12. Pickleball at the PC MARC

One of the fastest-growing sports in America, pickleball is now offered at the PC MARC. This popular, fun sport has simple rules and lots of action. Basin Rec Halloween Run

Celebrate the Spirits with Basin Recreation on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 12 p.m. at Newpark Plaza. Join us in costume for a 10K, 5K, and 1-mile trick-or-treat run with candy stations sponsored by local businesses along the way. Cost is $20 per person or $50 per family. Big Foot Soccer

Winter is quickly approaching, so let’s take soccer indoors! Basin Recreation’s Big Foot Soccer will run from Oct. 28 through Dec. 14 at The Fieldhouse. Third and fourth graders will practice on Mondays and Saturdays, fifth and sixth graders will practice on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and seventh and eighth graders will practice on Mondays and Saturdays. Basin Rec Fall Volleyball

Basin Recreation is offering a fall volleyball program from Oct. 15 through Nov. 19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Ecker Hill Middle School gymnasium. Third through fifth graders will play from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and cost is $60 per participant. Sixth through eighth graders will play from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and cost is $110 per participant. Dog Obedience Classes at the PC MARC

Certified local dog trainer Heather Hampsten will teach Puppy, Basic and Intermediate classes on Tuesdays, Oct. 1 to Nov. 5. Classes are for adults over 16 and their dogs. Little Dribblers at Basin Rec

Get ready to shoot some hoops! Basin Recreation’s Little Dribblers will run from Oct. 14 through Dec. 7. Preschool and kindergarteners will play on either Tuesday or Thursday in addition to Saturday at Trailside Elementary. First- and second-graders will play on Mondays and Wednesdays at Ecker Hill Middle School. All teams are coed and are designed to emphasize the fundamentals of basketball and to encourage improvement each week. Cost is $65 (includes a jersey). Park City Soccer Club Fall Youth Academy

Tae Kwon Do at Basin Rec

Learn the fundamentals of self defense in the traditional Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do with Basin Recreation!
