Park City resident and 2014 Olympic gold medal hopeful Sarah Hendrickson was injured during a training jump in Oberstdorf, Germany, on Wednesday.
Hendrickson, 19, suffered right knee damage, the extent of which is not yet known.
Accoring to a U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association press release, "she received medical attention in Obersdorf and will fly back to the U.S. with the team on Friday to undergo further medical evaluation in Utah."
Hendrickson won the women’s U.S. Ski Jumping title on Aug. 4 at the Utah Olympic Park and finished second at Summer Grand Prix event in Courcheval, France.
