Prom weekend at South Summit High School resulted in no incidents that the Summit County Sheriff’s department had to respond to, according to Summit County Detective Sergeant Ron Bridge.
"We didn’t hear any reports of high school kids partying or being too loud," he said. "No noise complaints and there were no car accidents which is always a concern of ours."
Bridge said the sheriff’s department biggest concern on prom weekend is safety and making sure everyone arrives home OK after the dance.
"We coordinate with the schools’ resource officers and officials at the schools to make sure everything goes smoothly," he said.
