Some of the youngsters skiing at Deer Valley Resort on Thursday might have been surprised to see they were sharing the slopes with a moose as the animal ambled across a ski run outside the Snow Park Lodge.
The moose emerged from the woods uphill from the bottom of the Burns lift and headed to the trees underneath the Carpenter Express lift.
The moose was seen the week after the Park City Police Department received at least four reports of sightings in places like Old Town and lower Deer Valley.
