The Park City Police Department last week received two reports of people driving scooters in the City Park skate park, a practice that is prohibited but something that is occasionally seen anyway.
On Friday, Oct. 21 at 10:36 a.m., kids were seen on scooters at the skate park. Public police logs did not provide details. The day before, Thursday, Oct. 20, people on scooters were seen in the skate park. The police received the report at 11:52 a.m.
The skate park is open to skateboarders and people using inline skates. Others, including bicyclists and scooter riders, are sometimes spotted in the park, however. The Police Department occasionally is called to the park to order scooter riders and bicyclists out.
