The Park City Police Department last week received two complaints that vehicles that had been left unlocked were subsequently broken into.
On Thursday, Sept. 15, at 6:49 p.m., someone told the police a car had been broken into on the 1700 block of Kearns Boulevard. Either a lock box or a safe was taken. The police were told money and prescriptions were taken, but public police logs did not provide details.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Sept. 12 at 10:15 a.m., someone reported a vehicle had been broken into on the 2100 block of Park Avenue. A laptop computer and company identification was taken from inside, the police were told. The vehicle had been left unlocked.
