The Wasatch Back’s drug task force, BackNet, arrested two Park City residents and seized an undisclosed amount of marijuana and paraphernalia after serving a search warrant at a house on the 800 block of Woodside Avenue in Old Town.
Deputies from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the Park City Police Department arrived at the residence of Jared Clark, 24, and Benjamin Clark, 30, on Thursday at 3 a.m. Both men were in the house at the time of the search and did not resist arrest, according to Park City Police Chief Wade Carpenter.
"We obtained the search warrant because two undercover agents thought they had previously purchased narcotics from the men," Carpenter said.
The two men were booked into the Summit County Jail on charges of distribution of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute. Benjamin Clark is not eligible for bail because he was on probation at the time of his arrest. Jared Clark is also ineligible for bail because there was a warrant out for his arrest issued by another jurisdiction.
