The Park City Police Department handled a series of cases at the skate park in City Park last week, including a report of graffiti, a suspected theft case and a complaint that bicyclists were using the park.

Some of the cases reported to the police included:

  • On Saturday, June 4, camera was reportedly stolen at the skate park in City Park, with the police receiving the complaint at 3:41 p.m.
  • On Wednesday, June 1, at 3:14 p.m., someone reported finding graffiti at the skate park at City Park. The graffiti was seen at the south end of the park, the police were told. The Public Works Department was notified to remove the graffiti.
  • On Wednesday at 3:05 p.m., the police received a complaint from someone at the skate park that a man suspected to be intoxicated was trying to sell skateboard decks, which are the piece of the skateboard that people stand on.
  • At noon on Wednesday, someone reported seeing bicyclists in the skateboard park. Bicyclists are prohibited from using the park but are sometimes spotted inside anyway.
  • On Monday, May 30 at 3:01 p.m., bicycle riders were seen in the skate park.
