Victory Ranch is still in the hands of the Wells Fargo subsidiary that foreclosed on the developer last year. Until the project finds a new buyer, project director Jeff Graham said the pro shop is allowing the public access to the private course.
Built for members only, there are only a handful of current members while real estate sales are on hold for a new developer. Since there is room on the course, the pro shop is taking tee-times. Slots for the public are limited, he said.
His office has received numerous calls from people interested in the Victory Ranch real estate, but the offers must be put on hold.
“We don’t want to establish the value of a lot while going through a bulk sale,” he explained.
Roughly 60 parties have expressed interest in purchasing the development, Graham said. It will take a few more months to see how many are serious, he said. Brokers have been giving tours, and as of now, they are telling him about 10 are good candidates.
“We anticipate closing by the end of the year. We’ll have a little more reality on that in July,” he said.
