A man was injured Tuesday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding struck an oncoming car on Kearns Boulevard in Park City, the authorities said.
Summit County resident Josh Packard, 18, said he was driving his 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX eastbound when his car collided with the motorcycle in the median lane.
“I don’t think it was my fault,” Packard said in an interview at the scene of the crash.
Packard, a graduate of Park City High School, was not injured in the accident.
Packard said he was turning left onto Kearns Boulevard from Snow Creek Drive when the crash occurred at about 1:40 p.m.
Park City Police Department Capt. Phil Kirk said the motorcycle rider was transported to Park City Medical Center. Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Johnson said the man suffered “minor injuries” in the crash.
Traffic was delayed as crews investigated the crash.
