The Park City Police Department last week received at least three complaints about vehicle break-ins last week, with another person telling the authorities it appeared that someone attempted to break into their vehicle.
The cases included:
On Friday, May 21 at 2:31 p.m., someone told the police the front windows of a vehicle in the China Bridge garage had been smashed out and items taken from inside. The person indicated the break-in occurred within 30 minutes of the report to the Police Department, according to public police logs. The logs did not detail what was reportedly taken.
On Thursday, May 20 at 4:07 p.m., the police received a complaint of a vehicle break-in on the 1400 block of Park Avenue. It occurred between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and audio equipment was taken from inside, the police said.
On Wednesday, May 19 at 5:28 p.m., someone told the police a vehicle on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive had been broken into. A purse was taken from inside, the police were told.
Meanwhile, at 2:54 p.m. on May 19 someone called the police with a complaint that a vehicle had been damaged on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive. The police were told the damage was consistent with someone attempting to break into the vehicle.
