Mayor Dana Williams is scheduled to take the oath of office for a third time on Thursday, the same day two new members of the Park City Council are slated to be sworn into office.
The ceremony is set for 6 p.m. in the Park City Council chambers. Judge Shauna Kerr, a former member of the City Council, has been tapped to preside.
Cindy Matsumoto and Alex Butwinski have waited since their Election Day victories to be sworn into office as City Councilors. They will replace the retiring Roger Harlan and Jim Hier.
The ceremony is scheduled between a City Council work session and the panel’s regular meeting. The ceremonies are typically done with little fanfare.
Matsumoto and Butwinski were the two top vote-getters in the City Council campaign. Williams outdistanced his rival, former Mayor Brad Olch, by a wide margin.
