The Park City Police Department last week received complaints of hunters in the open lands on the edge of the city, the most recent of the occasional reports called into the department.
Someone at 9:59 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28 contacted the police reporting they had seen two hunters in the area off Round Valley Way. They were described as bow hunters. They were heading back to vehicles parked close to the Park City Medical Center, the police were told.
Just earlier, the police received a report of what appears to be another group of hunters, this one on Rising Star Lane on the fringes of Solamere. The police said the Rising Star Lane report was one of possible trespassing.
The day before, on Friday, Nov. 27 at 9:19 a.m., a person on Rising Star Lane told the police a man dressed in camouflage clothing and carrying a bow was seen walking close to a house.
