Summit County health officials will distribute about 130 H1N1 flu vaccines this week at clinics in Coalville and the Snyderville Basin. The vaccines are for healthy people between the ages of two and 24 years old.
Adults between the ages of 25 and 49 years old who are health-care workers or care for children younger than six months old may also receive the nasal-mist vaccinations at no charge. The nasal mist is not recommended for women who are pregnant.
On Tuesday, swine-flu vaccines will be administered at the Summit County Health Department at 85 N. 50 East in Coalville from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m., said Health Department Nursing Director Carolyn Rose.
Residents in the Park City area may receive the H1N1 vaccines at the Sheldon Richins Building at 6505 N. Landmark Drive on Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m., Rose said.
"We’re going to get out the rest of what we have," Rose said.
She said she expects about 400 more swine-flu vaccines to be shipped to Summit County this week.
