In March 2007, a construction crew unearthed human bones near Kimball Junction. They will be buried again on Tuesday at the Coalville Cemetary, according to Summit County Sheriff’s Office Detective Ron Bridge. Investigators believe the remains belong to a European man who was between 45 and 50 years old. But they aren’t sure when he died.
A worker was excavating near Glenwild Drive almost two years ago when the bones were spotted. They reportedly included a skull, mandible and pelvis. There was no clothing or casket at the scene, investigators said.
The burial plot for the ceremony was donated by Coalville city. Summit County Sheriff Dave Edmunds said he is unsure of the cause of death.
