The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating missing Oakley resident Douglas Todd Nelson.
The 51-year-old hasn’t been seen since he was released from a hospital in the Salt Lake Valley Aug. 20, according to Sheriff’s Office Detective Ron Bridge.
"Nelson’s vehicle is parked at his house in Oakley, Utah, and has been since the date he went missing," Bridge said in a prepared statement.
Nelson may still be in the Salt Lake area, Bridge said.
"He is a 51-year-old guy who has not reported back to his family and the family thinks that is unusual," Bridge said in a telephone interview Monday.
Nelson is white with black hair and green eyes, Bridge said, adding that the missing man is about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 205 pounds.
