Martin Fox on Friday ended his short campaign for a spot on the Park City Council, removing his name from the ballot, according to City Hall’s elections officer.
His decision leaves four people competing for two City Council spots, and City Hall will not be required to hold a primary in the City Council campaign. Before Fox’s decision a City Council primary had been scheduled to reduce the field to four for Election Day.
The remaining candidates are John Stafsholt, Mark Blue, Alex Butwinski and Cindy Matsumoto.
Fox did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
