Join Basin Recreation and Mountain Trails as they celebrate winter trails with a Silver Ski event for the whole family on Saturday, Feb.10 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Start at Basin Recreation Field House or the McLeod Creek Trail and meet at Willow Creek Park on Old Ranch Road. There will be Starbucks hot chocolate, cross-country ski events, elimination races, broom ball, ski clinics and demos by Rossignol available throughout the day. National Ability Center Bobsled Team goes International
The National Ability Center bobsled team has been invited to participate in the North American International Race Series, an International Federation of Bobsled and Tobbagen (FIBT) sanctioned event. Athletes Matt Profitt, who has a below the knee amputation and Aaron Lanningham, paraplegic, will compete in the races. The first two races of the series will take place in Park City at the Utah Olympic Park on Feb.10-11. The second set of races will be held in Calgary, Canada on Feb.16-17. This will be the first time that the National Ability Center bobsled team will compete out of the state.

Adult basketball league
Park City Recreation is taking registration for the adult spring basketball league. League play runs Feb. 8 through May 24 from 6-10 p.m. at the Racquet Club gym.
