To provide healing and restorative retreats for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer; to encourage them to reclaim their sense of personal power, and strengthen them by providing coping strategies for an improved quality of life. |
Wish List
- Cash donations to underwrite the costs of retreats since their is no cost to participants. A cancer diagnosis usually brings financial concerns and distress
- The use of large private homes in which to hold our weekend retreats. We are trying to accommodate the demand for more frequent retreats
- Donations for annual fundraiser and auction — primarily art items, time shares and vacation getaways
- Cash donations may be made on our Web site or by mailing a check to our address below
How to Help
- Volunteer to help at the monthly retreats if you have a special talent to share, (e.g. leading an art therapy session, cooking a dish for Sunday morning brunch, clean up on Sunday morning, spa services, etc.)
- Volunteer opportunities are also plentiful preceding our annual fundraising event in the fall. This requires involvement with the various committees or a possible chair position
- Volunteer clerical and intern duties are available at prior to fundraiser. (August-September)
