James Fleming and John Mark Krenkel of Park City High School are organizing a special around-the-world tour for the summer of 2007.
The itinerary will include Tokyo, Vietnam, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, India, Istanbul, Moscow, St. Petersberg, Berlin and Ireland. This tour will be available to students in grades 8-12, ex-students, parents and grandparents.
There will be an organizational meeting on Mon. Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall at PCHS (room 149). Interested parties are encouraged to attend.”
PCHS graduate earns college diploma
In December, 2002 Park City High School graduate Joey Maloney earned his diploma from Los Angeles Film School where he earned his degree in Cinematography. He minored in directing and editing. After a brief visit home for the Sundance Film Festival, Maloney will return to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film.
Summit County Library classes
The Summit County Library is offering free computer classes.

Spanish for landcapers
Utah Valley State College is offering Spanish for Nurseries, Landscaping and Groundskeeping beginning Thursdays, Feb. 9 to March 9 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Liberal Arts building (LA) room 009 on the UVSC Orem campus.
The course is designed for non-Spanish speaking supervisors in the “green industry” to learn work-specific Spanish.
This course also fulfills Utah’s new continuing education requirement for contractor license renewal.
