Several vehicles parked on streets illegally blocked snowplow operators in Summit County last week. A county ordinance prohibits street parking between November and April to keep roads clear for snow removal.

A 35-year-old man was injured in Summit County after a stone fell on him on Nov. 28 at 10:03 a.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a crash that involved a Chevrolet pickup truck near the Promontory subdivision on Nov. 28 at 10:39 a.m.
A truck hauling a crane near Wanship struck an overpass on Interstate 80 on Nov. 28 at 11:50 a.m.
A pickup truck with a camper was allegedly vandalized in Summit County on Nov. 29 at 10:03 a.m.
On Nov. 29, a man on Mountain Ranch Drive filed a delayed report that claimed his house was burglarized in the Snyderville Basin last July.
An Oakley man reported a case of fraud to the Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 29 at 11:04 a.m.
On Nov. 29, a Summit Park man reported a burglary that occurred at his home last August.
No injuries were reported as a result of hit-and-run traffic crash that allegedly occurred at Kimball Junction on Nov. 29 at 4:01 p.m.
A Glenwild woman reported a case of check fraud to the Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 29 at 4:07 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that reportedly involved a Range Rover and pickup truck on Nov. 29.
Dispatch was notified when a water main broke at Powderwood Condominiums on Nov. 29 at 6:44 p.m.
A motorist reportedly struck a bridge near Glenwild on Nov. 29 at 6:45 p.m.
No injuries were reported when a truck tipped over in Silver Creek Canyon on Nov. 29 at 7:05 p.m.
Deputies have received repeated calls about drivers parking on the street and blocking snowplows in Pinebrook.
A 43-year-old Snyderville Basin man reportedly attempted suicide by ingesting too many pills on Nov. 30 around 7:59 a.m.
On Nov. 30, a man was trespassing on a private road in the Kamas East area at 8:51 a.m.
A private snowplow operator allegedly drove through a Silver Creek man’s fence while clearing a driveway on Nov. 30 at 10:42 a.m.
Construction workers reportedly blocked county snowplow operators by parking on the street during a storm in Silver Springs on Nov. 30.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that involved two pickup trucks in a South Summit neighborhood on Nov. 30 at 1:51 p.m.
A domestic dispute was reported to the Sheriff’s Office from western Summit County on Dec. 1 at 12:25 p.m.
An Oakley resident reported a case of identity fraud to the Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 1 at 1:29 p.m.
No injuries were reported from South Summit when a backhoe and Subaru Legacy crashed on Dec. 1 at 3 p.m.
On Dec. 1, a West Valley woman told a dispatcher that checks and a debit card stolen from her vehicle in Salt Lake were used fraudulently in Summit County.
On Dec. 1, a Summit Park man told the Sheriff’s Office his house on Matterhorn Drive was burglarized.
A man in a white pickup truck allegedly stole $25 worth of gasoline from a Silver Creek convenience store on Dec. 2.
A motorist reportedly slid off the road near Utah Olympic Park on Dec. 2 at 10:41 a.m.

On Dec. 2, a Francis woman told a county dispatcher that her bank account was used fraudulently. A separate case of check fraud was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 2 at 4:48 p.m.
A herd of roughly 50 elk reportedly blocked motorists on Chalk Creek Road near Coalville on Dec. 3 at 2:17 a.m.
A Summit County deputy was investigating a motorist for suspicion of driving under the influence on Dec. 3 at 5:01 a.m. Another driver was pulled over for an alleged DUI on Dec. 3 at 11:16 p.m.
On Dec. 3, a snowboard was allegedly stolen at The Canyons resort at 4:29 p.m.
Deputies responded to several motorists on Dec. 4 who slid off snowy roads in Summit County.
No injuries were reported when a man driving an Isuzu Rodeo slid into a Honda Civic near Kimball Junction on Dec. 4 at 5:08 p.m.
One person was injured after biting their tongue during a traffic accident that involved one car on Chalk Creek Road on Dec. 4.
On Dec. 4, a Summit Park man, who reported a slide-off in the neighborhood, said the Mercedes Benz driver was “highly intoxicated, not able to stand up straight and acting extremely funny,” a media report states.
