Matt Melville, Park City Museum volunteer, will give a free lecture titled “Henry Shields: Early Pioneer of Park City” at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, at the Park City Museum Education and Collections Center, 2079 Sidewinder Drive. Shields, who happens to be Melville’s great- great-grandfather, was a Park City and Summit County attorney, law enforcement officer and was accused of murder. Kimball Junction Trash Cleanup

The Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter will host a Kimball Junction Trash Cleanup on April 20. Volunteers can sign up for shifts by visiting tinyurl.com/2p6axsf8. The event, part of the EcoCenter’s Earth Day and Earth Month celebration, will cover various locations at Kimball Junction. Volunteers will pick up trash that has accumulated over the winter, because if the trash is not removed much will end up on the Swaner Preserve and pose a threat to wildlife and become detrimental to the functions of the wetland. Park City Film: ‘Radical’

Park City Film and the Park City Library will host a free screening of Christopher Zalla’s “Radical,” rated PG-13, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. “Radical,” winner of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival’s Festival Favorite, is based on a true story. A frustrated teacher, played by Eugenio Derbez, uses a new method to reach students in a town plagued by neglect, corruption, and violence. The screening, presented in Spanish with English subtitles,  is part of Park City Film’s Cine en Español Series presented with Park City Library and supported with grant funding from Park City Municipal. Summit Community Garden Seek Farm Farmacy Volunteers

Summit Community Gardens & EATS, a nonprofit that encourages the community to gather, learn about healthy nutrition and food accessibility and grow in gardens and schools, seeks volunteers for its Farm Farmacy program. Volunteers are needed bi-weekly and on Thursdays to help deliver produce to between four and eight homes around Summit and Wasatch counties. Volunteers must have a car and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Deliveries are no-contact and may be left at the front door. Canyons Village Management Association invites the public to the Gondola Art Stroll, which runs through April 15. BalletNext’s ‘The Best of Sleeping Beauty’
