The Resort Cities Sales Tax was instituted to pay 1/3 of the bus system cost of Park City. Snyderville has a bus sales tax now.

Recently an article appeared in this paper about Snyderville businesses submitting their sales taxes to Park City. Those who have been paying attention will remember the same article from a couple of years ago. Mr. Jasper should make an effort to collect the authorized taxes before grubbing for additional ones.

Teachers are 'grateful to be loved and fed'

Editor:

The attached "Thank You" letter is addressed to Trailside parents (on behalf of Trailside teachers and staff) for Teacher Appreciation Week activities.

To say just "thanks" is not enough, 'cause we enjoyed some awesome stuff!

On Monday pizzas and a show were shared and shown (the lights were low)!

The picnic next was oh-so-fine, a lovely meal on which to dine.

And on the third day, what to eat? A "Mex Fiesta" was our treat!

Then Taste of Asia was enjoyed, so much good karma was employed!

Friday tasty bagels PLUS, were gobbled up by all of us.

But that's not all our parents brought The gifts! The cards! The blooms in pots!

We couldn't be more humbled, true, for great support the whole year through.

So thanks to all, and hear it said, "We're grateful to be loved and fed!"
