I’ve lived on Buffalo Bill Drive in Prospector Park since 2007. The neighborhood has been a good place to live, and I’ve enjoyed the convenience of being close to Park City proper, the Rail Trail, Round Valley, numerous mountain trails and parks and the highway.
Recently, I have taken note of a giant billboard/scoreboard being installed right in line with Buffalo Bill Drive at the new field complex being built along Kearns Boulevard.
This eyesore will be in the face of all who leave our valued Prospector Park neighborhood along Buffalo Bill Drive. The outfield is large enough for the billboard/scoreboard to be moved off the direct view of our neighborhood street.
I would ask those who are in charge to take into consideration the aesthetics of the neighborhood experience and the people who live here, over the commercialization of Park City.
