Park Record Editor Don Rogers published a “Journalism Matters” column in the July 1-2, edition. While I respect Rogers’ opinion on the matter of the 5-acre Bonanza site, it’s very clear that he prefers affordable housing. Others in the community have different opinions. Many would like to see it a park.
I sincerely hope that Mr. Rogers continues to publish opposing views to his on the matter. That is where journalism really matters!
