The Park City Farmers Market runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Wednesday through Sept. 30 at Park City Mountain’s First Time chair lift lot. Summer Reading Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to provide one-on-one reading assistance to elementary-school students for as many or as few hours as possible. The program runs 9 a.m. to noon Mondays through Thursdays, June 17 to July 22, at McPolin Elementary School, 2270 Kearns Blvd. No prior experience required, and teachers will be present at all times to distribute materials and answer questions. The Grass Roots at the Egyptian Theatre
The Grass Roots, known for the hits “Midnight Confessions,” “Let’s Live For Today” and “Two Divided by Love,” will perform a three-night run starting Thursday at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. The band now features guitarist and vocalist Dusty Hanvey, keyboardist and vocalists Larry Nelson, drummer Joe Dougherty and lead vocalist and bassist Mark Dawson. The Film Lounge pop-up screening and discussion: ‘American Pachuco’
The Film Lounge, a new nonprofit, will host a pop-up screening and discussion of David Alvarado’s “American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez,” rated PG, at 6 p.m. on Friday in an intimate venue at Bear Hollow. The address will be provided at registration, and registration is open at tinyurl.com/nfsfbzwf. “American Pachuco,” about the migrant farmworker-turned-performing artist, playwright, award-winning screenwriter and film director, premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and won the Audience Award for U.S. Documentary and Audience Award for Festival Favorite.
