The Park City Institute has changed its summer concert series name to Concerts on the Slopes and is excited to announce the final acts to complete the 2024 performances on the Mountain Stage at Canyons Village.
With three additional sensational shows set to round out an unforgettable season of live music, fans are invited to join us for all eleven shows in Park City.
- Pop duo Aly & AJ will take the stage on Aug. 23, offering an electric performance as part of their Vibrant Tour.
- The I Love the 90s tour will turn back time on Aug. 30, with performances by All 4 One, Rob Base, Tone Loc, CMB and Young MC. The concert promises a trip through a decade of monumental hits, including “I Swear,” “Wild Thing,” “Funky Cold Modena,” “I Wanna Sex You Up” and “Bust a Move.”
- Country music star Sara Evans is set to perform her chart-topping hits on Aug. 31. Her hits “Suds in the Bucket” and “A Little Bit Stronger” will bring her signature country sound to the Concerts on the Slopes.
“As the self-proclaimed Director of Fun at the Park City Institute, I am excited to share what promises to be the best outdoor experience in Park City this summer,” said Executive Director Dr. Ember Conley. “We’re creating an atmosphere of fun, food, and world-class entertainment. Concertgoers will enjoy more than just a show – it’s an experience. From the first note played to the last drumbeat echoing throughout the slopes, our Summer Series celebrates the magic of Park City.”
“Concerts on the Slopes” is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the newly constructed Amphitheater and at Canyons Village at Park City Mountain.
The new venue will feature a larger semi-permanent stage, state-of-the-art lighting, and enhanced guest amenities.
“I am honored to be asked to program the Concerts on the Slopes for 2024. This season, we’re featuring acts from every decade since the late ’60s,” said board chair Ari Ioannides. “The lineup reflects the rich mosaic of music where anyone can jump out of their seat and dance. I’m excited about bringing this diverse mix of artists to our community and visitors, promising a summer filled with unforgettable moments.”
