I was delighted to see Monopoly, the Park City Edition, announced in The Park Record: Monopoly money can build a hotel at the McPolin Farm, houses at Round Valley.
While it’s exciting to see so many Park City icons appear around the board, it’s unfortunate that the game features a glaring error. The orange property labeled “Bonanza Mine” is plainly a photograph of The Silver King Mill.
It seems likely that Top Trumps USA has repeated an error that appears in the AllTrails Hiking and Trail Guides application, which erroneously refers to The Silver King Mine as The Bonanza Mine. I’ve reached out to AllTrails with no success to correct their error.
The actual Silver King Mine is located just above the mill in Woodside Gulch. Perhaps for their next printing, Top Trumps USA will want to correct both the photograph and the label.
