As a proud 25-year neighbor of Deer Valley and someone fortunate enough to be involved in promoting the incredible skiing experiences Utah has to offer, I am writing to express my support for the Snow Park Base Village Project.
When I think of a model community partner, I think of Deer Valley. I have personally witnessed many decades of their commitment to excellence for our community and firmly believe this project is another thoughtful stride towards enhancing our community and elevating the ski experience in Park City and in Utah.
Deer Valley has always been synonymous with doing the right thing for Park City, and this project is no exception. The proposed development, characterized by a pedestrian village and traffic mitigation plans, aligns seamlessly with Deer Valley’s reputation for thoughtful planning and execution. I am particularly excited about the prospect of additional restaurants and après-ski options, as well as year-round opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
The vision of a pedestrian-friendly village is especially appealing. It will offer a welcoming environment for socializing and enjoying après-ski moments without congestion and crowds. Having had the chance to ski in different corners of the world, I have come to appreciate the distinct charm and character of various ski destinations.
With this enhancement, I am confident that Park City will stand out even more prominently on the global stage, offering a ski experience that rivals some of the most amazing places I have had the privilege of visiting.
This project not only enhances the ski experience but also contributes to the overall vibrancy and appeal of our community. By providing more options for residents and visitors to gather and connect, we are fostering a sense of community that extends beyond the slopes.
