Arthur Brooks at the Eccles Center
Park City Institute and the Cook Center for Human Connection will present Arthur Brooks a 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd. Brooks, a professor of management practice at the Harvard Business School, where he teaches courses on leadership and happiness, will kick off the Park City Institute’s 2023-24 Main Stage Winter Series. Historic Pub Crawl
The Park City Museum’s Historic Pub Crawl is a way for adults to socialize, tip back a few drinks and learn about local history. This year’s event will run from 5:30-7:45 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, and the tour will visit three facilities — Wasatch Brew Pub (Top of Main), the Star Bar and 350 Main, all of which are on upper Main. ‘Young Frankenstein’ at The Egyptian Theatre
Ziegfeld Theater Company will continue a three-weekend run of the musical comedy “Young Frankenstein” Nov. 9-12 and 16-19. “Young Frankenstein” is based on Mel Brook’s 1974 horror spoof that pays homage to the black and white creature features of the 1930s. Virtual Author Event: Tiffany “The Bugdetnista” Aliche
The Summit County Library will host a virtual author event with Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche at noon on Thursday, Nov. 9. Aliche’s New York Times bestseller “Get Good with Money” introduced the concept of building wealth through financial wholeness, a realistic, achievable and energizing alternative to get-rich-quick and over-complicated money management systems. Stationery Swap and Candy Donations for the Troops
The Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., will host a stationery swap and receive candy donations for letters to veterans or active members serving in the United State Military through Nov. 17.
