Kamas will host three consecutive days of rodeo action this week, as part of its Fiesta Days celebration. The events have been part of the small town’s tradition for over 70 years.
The rodeo events will kick off Thursday, July 20, with solely bulls and broncs, continuing Friday and Saturday with traditional rodeo competitions like calf roping and steer riding.
This is the first year in which Kamas will have a Rocky Mountain Professional Rodeo Association rodeo event, with enhanced competition and prize money.
Fans can catch a piece of this action for only $10 each day; tickets are sold on Etix.

Head chairperson for the rodeo Kirbee Atkinson loves the three days it’s in Kamas. “It’s just a really great small-town community celebration,” he says.
