Early voting has been going on for the Coalville mayoral primary election, and as of the end of Monday, August 5, the fifth day of early voting, 60 voters had cast their ballots.
Coalville City Recorder Nachele Sargent said, "The word’s getting out better more and more."
She encouraged voters to come to the Coalville City Hall at 10 N. Main Street as early voting continues until this Friday. Citizens can vote from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. until Thursday, August 8, and from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, August 9.
The six candidates vying for Coalville’s mayoral seat include: Colton Drae Burgener, Merlyn W. Johnson, Trever J. Johnson, Arlin B. Judd, Steven B. Richins and David Vernon.
