Electric vehicle, also known as electric drive vehicle, also known as electric drive vehicle. Electric vehicles are divided into AC electric vehicles and DC electric vehicles. Electric vehicles, commonly referred to as electric vehicles, use batteries as their energy source and convert electrical energy into mechanical energy through components such as controllers and motors to control the magnitude of the current and change the speed of the vehicle.

The first electric vehicle was manufactured in 1881, invented by French engineer Gustave Trouv é Gustave Truf. It was a three wheeled vehicle powered by a lead-acid battery and was powered by a DC motor. Today, electric vehicles have undergone tremendous changes and come in various types. The share of electric vehicles in the national economy is not very high. However, it conforms to the national energy-saving and environmental protection trend, facilitates short distance transportation, and plays an important role in the national economy mainly through energy and environmental conservation and protection.
In November 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and six other departments jointly issued a notice on strengthening the management of low-speed electric vehicles, requiring local organizations to carry out low-speed electric vehicle cleaning and rectification work, strictly prohibit the addition of low-speed electric vehicle production capacity, and strengthen the standardized management of low-speed electric vehicles.

Starting from August 1, 2021, non business individuals who park or charge electric bicycles in public lobbies, evacuation corridors, stairwells, and safety exits of high-rise civil buildings and refuse to make corrections may be fined up to 1000 yuan.
